Christensen Arms Evoke Featured in Athlon Outdoors
Athlon Outdoors recently took our new Evoke rifle to the range and delivered a clear verdict: precision, performance, and value in one complete package.
“That’s exactly what the new Christensen Arms Evoke rifle did in range testing, printing sub‑MOA average 100‑yard groups with five tested factory loads.” wrote Mike Dickerson in the Athlon Outdoors feature.
The Evoke was designed to deliver Christensen Arms accuracy at an accessible price point—under $900 MSRP—proving that serious performance doesn’t have to break the bank.
Dickerson noted that “This innovative Evoke rifle is offered in four distinct, feature‑rich versions that are intentionally built to tackle any challenges you throw at them.”
Choose from OD Green, Mossy Oak, the optic-ready Hunter, or the Precision model with a carbon cheek riser and ARCA rail. Every version is purpose-built and equipped to perform in demanding conditions.

“The Evoke’s cylindrical receiver is precision-machined from 416 stainless steel bar stock and features an integral steel recoil lug with integral pillar bedding” mentioned Dickerson.
A factory-installed TriggerTech single-stage trigger (set around 3 pounds, adjusted to 2 lb‑12 oz during testing) ensures a crisp, consistent pull.
“The barrel is button-rifled and hand-lapped 416R stainless steel. It’s also threaded 5/8×24 with a premium RFR muzzle brake installed” Dickerson wrote when discussing the Evoke’s specs.
Athlon Outdoors tested the 6.5 Creedmoor model at 7 lb 7 oz with a 20″ barrel, highlighting its balance of maneuverability and precision.
The Evoke represents what Christensen Arms stands for: uncompromising accuracy, thoughtful design, and proven performance—now at a price that makes world-class precision more accessible than ever.
