Purchased the rifle in a 300 win mag, and got it home. Slid the bolt in and it stopped 1” in and would not go further. Basically there was a bur blocking it from going all the way in. Now I have worked the bolt 100+ times it’s smooth and functional

I was very skeptical about the claims around 7mm Backcountry. So I gave it a little over a year then went shopping for a rifle. I own a Ridgeline EFT in 7mm PRC and it is one of my most accurate rifles. When I saw the Evoke and at its price I decided to give 7mm Backcountry a try. This rifle in this chambering with a 16 inch barrel is near unbelievable. I hunt with 155gr Terminal Ascents and in this rifle I'm getting an average of 3063fps and averaging .77 MOA groups!!! A simply excellent compact hunting package that suppressed is my new go to hunting rig.

Awesome gun,shoots fantastic.Shot a quarter size 5 shot group at 100 yards all holes touching.If I have negative thing to say is that the magazine is a little noisy.With it being plastic it kind of rattles and when you grab the gun or rest it on somthing the mag makes a noise which is kind of loud.Mine is in 30-06 but would lime to see christensen go to a metal mag.All around great gun and accurate right out of the box.

I would like to start out by saying that this is the first hunting rifle that I’ve taken right out of the box and mounted a quality scope on and took it to the range and was able to get everything set with less than 5 shots with the accuracy of this rifle. I have been a active hunter and gun enthusiast for more than 30 years and have owned several high quality brands and calibers this new evoke in the 308 win is by far more impressive than I expected and I am going to purchase another one in a 300 win mag after this hunting season just because of the incredible performance I am seeing from this Evoke 308win thanks for allowing me to leave this review Thanks Tom Thomas
United States7MM Backcountry 16.25 Barrel
Truly Amazing! Must admit I was very skeptical at first with the claims on BC load claims. My Evoke with 16.25 barrel and Federal Premium 7mm Backcountry,168-grain Barnes LRX load shooting suppressed I’m getting 2916 as the muzzle and getting faster as the barrel is breaking in (started at 2907). My MOA is less than 1/2 at 100 yards. I could not be more pleased Definitely would recommend, very little recoil.
