Mesa = Great Gun

I've been shooting a Mesa in a .300 Win Mag now for several years. It had 1 warranty issue that I sent it back for and CA took care of me. I really like the size and feel of this gun. This gun replaced a brand new Rem. Sendero that I could never get to shoot and I don't regret the switch for 1 second. I shoot factory 180 gn Barnes TTSX ammo out of this gun and have killed elk at 675 & 800 yards among other animals at various distances. I recommend this gun in a heartbeat.

Love my rifle; just not Stock Issue!

My Mesa is chambered in the 300 WM and I love it! My issue is with the Stock and the Front Swivel. I notified Christensen of the issue; once I started using my rifle and was told; unless the swivel has totally fallen out there was nothing that they would do! I’m afraid when it does fall out and my Optics are destroyed; it’ll be too late. This swivel is sloppy and has never been right. Heading on another hunt and can’t afford to have the swivel rip out destroying my rifle, optics and overall hunt! I’m going to epoxy the swivel permanently to the Stock; which will nullify any warranty.

Pleasure to shoot

When I first started to sight the rifle in I was not impressed with the accuracy. But, I followed the break in guidelines to a "T". At the end of my second box of shells I was absolutely amazed. I'm not a bad rifle shot but this rifle in 6.5 prc is absolutely a tack driver. On a sandbag I put 3 shots that were all touching and was easily covered by a dime. No fancy rest just a sandbag. I highly recommend this rifle to any big game hunter. Fairly soft shooting as well, with the factory muzzle brake.

First of Many Christensen Rifles

This rifle took a while to find. It was the first rifle I bought myself after college. I wanted something reliable and accurate that wouldn’t break the bank and this did that and more. It shoots great, even sub MOA with cheap ammo, and I couldn’t be happier with it. If you need a “basic” rifle that out performs its price, look no further than the Mesa.

300 Trusty

My Christensen Mesa burnt bronze 300 win mag. This gun has exceeded my expectations. I wanted this rifle for timber hunting elk. It seems to like any ammo I toss in it. It holds sub moa groups at 100 yards. I feel there is nothing this rifle can’t do well at. The mesa is a more affordable option without missing out when it comes to accuracy and reliability. I have been super happy with accuracy at further ranges.
