Not Happy

Update: just got my 22 creedmoor back March 9th after being at factory for 2 months. will say it shot better than it did last time 3 inch group with hornady precision hunter 143 gr. But test target they sent back with gun was 1inch and 3/4 inch using copper creek ammo that's custom loaded and 65 dollars a box. most people can't afford 65 dollar ammo to play with. I have two other 22 creedmoors that shoot 1/2 groups with the Hornady ammo both guns cost half as much as the Christensen. both have 1-8 twist barrels Christensen has 1-7 twist may be problem. plus had to take to gunsmith to get muzzle brake off so i could put a can on.. gun is on way back to factory. Dealer talked me into sending back one more time before changing barrel out with something else..

Zero stars

Rifle will not group under 3 inches. Bought in September, been trying to get a response to send back for repairs, talked to Nash a couple of times. Still no response it’s February now. What’s up!!?

Good rifle

Really good shooting rifle. Had to put a diamond trigger in it to satisfy my liking and work up the perfect load. It’s the most accurate rifle I’ve ever owned. I will say that the carbon barrel doesn’t like to get too hot. It will walk the bullet but not enough to make much difference unless you are shooting 500+yads repeatedly. I do wish it had an adjustable cheek rise on it but I found a bullet pouch holder and put some foam in it and works great. The target I added has some load data for this ridgeline. May not work the same in another but it’s just to prove it’s possible to work up a load for it. And this data is 2950 FPS. Love this gun. It is called the Mexico Magnum built it for Mexico Whitetails. And Texas Whitetails. Ha

Will not group

Ordered a 22 creedmoor back in sept of 2025 from rep at gun store. Gun came in just before Christmas. Thought great Christmas present was I wrong. 5 box’s of ammo that I have to order. Gun would not group inside a five gallon bucket at 100 yards. Now gun is back at factory to see what’s wrong with it. Will see how good customer service is. Side note I have 3 other Christensen arms rifles that shoot lights out. Everyone is going to ship a bad one every once in awhile. I just happen to get one

Poor Workmanship

Purchased 2 Ridgeline FFT’s this year , 6.5 PRC and a 280 Ai.. if you look at the specs and know anything about custom rifles they offer the prize. Cloned 700 action good deal, fluted bolt. M- 16 extractor, fluted bolt, and nice bolt handle. Barrel- carbon fiber along with a nice carbon fiber stock. Only thing is they don’t know how to properly chamber and bed. 40 years of loading , shooting, building other customs, and few years on the IBS bench rest circuit I know my way around. There are 3- B’s to a gun performing. Barrels. Bullets, and bedding . The 6.5 PRC accuracy and velocity not going hand in hand. I have tried Hornady. Sierra. Hammer, and Bergers. I have used 5 different powders and after 230 rounds finally got this gun to shoot. The load I settled on I just as well be shooting a credmor for the velocity I get. I noticed several times when you un cam the bolt very stiff on top end , not bottom end at first lift from pressure either . Basicly the lugs are not machined properly . The 280 Ai started sane non sense throwing flyers giving me a 2” group on a 3 shot group at 100 yards. I was in a hurry on this rifle due to a scheduled hunt . After barrel break in and I always do that with custom barrels I pulled apart to trade out the trigger for a Timney 8oz trigger. When I got it out of the stock there was no best g in the recoil lug area. I instantly re bedded entire action gun came to life. Only thing is I’m shooting a 132 Hammer .15000 of the lands and the bullet is stuffed in case so far un real . This should not be on this particular size and shape bullet anyway. I did not and will not call in after seeing the reviews . My theory is it should of been done correct first time and I don’t care for a cookie cutter crew to be working on them again. The fix will be sending the 280 away to have throated or possibly set back a thread and re chamber. The 6,5 PRC will have the action blue printed and possibly a 24” proof barrel installed . 20” is to short of a barrel for what that case can offer in velocity , they should offer it in 24” in the ridgeline FFt. Gunsmithing requires precise machine work this company does not offer that .

Barrel
The Ridgeline FFT features a 416R stainless steel barrel meticulously wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber—designed to be both ultralight and exceptionally accurate. It’s button-rifled, hand-lapped for premium consistency, free-floated for optimal harmonics, and match-chambered. Standard threading is 5/8-24, with a 1/2-28 option available for calibers like the .22-250. A removable stainless-steel side-baffle muzzle brake comes standard.
Stock
Built with Christensen Arms' exclusive Flash Forged Technology (FFT), the carbon fiber Sporter FFT stock is ultra-light yet robust. It delivers rigidity and balance thanks to its compression-molded monocoque shell, carbon fiber bedding pillars, spot bedding, and integrated recoil pad.
Action
The action is precision-machined from steel on the trusted Remington 700 footprint. It features a spiral-fluted, dual-lug bolt with an enlarged aluminum bolt knob, improved bolt release, and enlarged ejection port. It’s topped with a TriggerTech® trigger and a standard Rem 700 optics base interface. The rifle feeds from an internal magazine with aluminum hinged floor plate and accepts AICS-style detachable magazines with an aftermarket conversion kit.
