I believe it is the wrong item for my rifle

I have not installed it yet, but it appears to be the wrong one for my Mesa Long Range rifle since the diameter is larger than my rifles barrel even though it was listed as the correct one.

Reasonable Price Great Performance

Recoil Reduction!

Gun shoots well with the brake. Accuracy not affected but recoil is substantially less on my REM 700 in .308. Appears to be a little louder. Empirically, 30% or more reduction in recoil and 10% increase in shooter perceived sound. Nothing to technically confirm results. I would buy again. Thanks Christensen!
