Tamed my Ruger Precision
I was having issues with keeping my Ruger Precision from jumping left every time I shot it. I did not want to add weights and I was looking for a solution. Kent at Tims Gun Shop suggested this brake. I was really surprised when the side jump went from a 1/4" to an 1/8" instantly. The next issue was barrel rise. Playing around with the top ports I was able to eliminate 95% of my barrel rise. It did require some changes to scope setting since it affected barrel harmonics. Could not be happier. Picture is before port tuning.
USPretty good titanium brake for my CA ridgeline
Not as bad pricing with the 50% deal this April. Still very high for what it is. Had to fuss with the crush washer. The brake made first contact just past the alignment of correct rotation. Substantial effort to get another 7/8 of a turn and mashed the crush washer enough to squirt proud of the barrel. Maybe I expected a little easier. My other’s weren’t such an ordeal. Guessing it eliminates 30%-40% of the recoil. Probably increases the sound about the same percentage. All temporal of course. Still worth it!! Helps tame the recoil.

Haven’t not shot it yet but like this style brake much more. Have to play with the Allen screws
